Kid's Bubblegum Bathroom

Before (the only picture I took before the destruction began)
and After!

Our home has been waiting for this bathroom remodel since we moved into our home in 2004.  With the bathroom's 80's linoleum to the worn out ugly, ugly vanity...it was time to go!  After a couple of months, we finally managed to finish our kid's bathroom remodel and I couldn't be happier with the results.  Of course we haven't finished all the trim, need to paint one more coat of paint on the walls, and I would like to add a shelf over the toilet...in due time it will all get done.  Here are some pictures showing our remodel.  I have also included my bathroom print jpegs for you on the bottom of this post for you to print out for your own bathroom...enjoy!

This is a scary picture...Paige with a powertool!

The kid's went to town destroying the old linoleum floor.

 All finished!

My 3 bathroom prints I designed with vintage hooks I found at an antique shop hanging below.

My BATH sign I made from Hobby Lobby cardboard letters & metallic spray paint...
thank you Pinterest!

I found these 3 vintage bubble gum machines at a flea market and fell in LOVE with them...yes I know it is crazy I have candy gum balls in my kid's bathroom =).  I also found the old wire locker baskets filled with toilet paper at an antique shop.

Here are the 3 printables just for YOU!

Chevron Halloween Treat Bags...Oh My!

In the spirit of Halloween tomorrow, I thought I would share the kid's chevron Halloween treat bags that I created for school. The bags were made of a mix of candy, squishy mice, pencils, and bat rings.  Most everything I used I purchased at Walmart, Michaels, & Stampin Up.  We started by filling our clear plastic bags, found at Walmart in the Party aisle.  We then pulled out all my stamping supplies.  I used my black StazOn ink pad and an orange Stampin Up ink pad, a mix of Halloween Stampin Up stamps, and a chevron stamp I found in the $1 bin at Michaels.  I also used my Stampin Up tag punch and hole punch.  After cutting out and stamping all of our tags, I finished up our bags by wrapping an orange ribbon around the bag to close it and attached the spider ring around the tied ribbon.  Enjoy!

Memories of Summer Vacation

With the arrival of the FREEZING cold weather, I started reminiscing our little family vacation to Holland, Michigan this past summer.  The kids had a great time and so did Mommy & Daddy.  We managed to survive the 4 hour drive to Michigan.  Our DVD player, snacks, & of course crafting projects kept the kids busy during the long ride.  The beach at Lake Michigan was perfect for our family.  My little man Hunter had never been to a sandy beach so he was thrilled to be able to run, jump, & splash in Lake Michigan!  My daughter Paige was thrilled about the lake also, she loved burying Daddy in the sand.  Lighthouses and sailboats made the sunsets perfect.  I was thrilled with all the little boutiques around Holland & nearby Saugatuck.  Here are some pics from our vaca...enjoy and stay warm!
